2月28日 Sessions are 95% finalT-15 weeks and we will be in
You will start to see the session titles populate on the TechEd content site including the security track!! Before you see the final ones, I wanted to let you know that you will be able to see Steve Riley, Mark Russinovich, Michael Howard as new to the US event but not new to our Europen TechEds we will have Rafal Lukawiecki and Marcus Murray. The SESSIONS this year KICK BUTT! It will be a great event as usual, but an especically speacial one as it is the 15th Anniversary of TechEd. I have been working on this event for over 5 years in one capacity or another and it has grown into a better event every year!!
If you have not registered, I promise you the event will sell out!!! Take adventage of the early bird discount and make sure you will be there!
I am back off to get my sessions FINAL and completely released in the Content Tool.
In my next BLOG, I think I will write about the Session Preference Tool and what it means to our sessions and speakers.
Back to cuss at the weather and watch the school web sites and hope they don't show closures.
2月23日 Women In TechnologyTechEd this year is going to be one of the best ever! I just had lunch yesterday to help brainstorm about the Women in Technology Luncheon or do I say fomerly a luncheon. In the fall I attended a grass roots women in tech networking dinner and it was fun. We discussed moving the luncheon instead to a reception (perhaps 6PM on Wed.)??? I think it would be a great change and really give the participants better chance to network and strengthen the community. We discussed the serious problem that we all face with helping make "Technolgy Cool" and desireable to young girls. How do we reach them earlier and let them know the great opportunites that are out there for them in and around technology!! This is a test if anyone is reading my blog... what do you think?? If you have attened or are interested in attending this year's Women in Technology Event (open to men too) what would you like to see? What would make the event worth your while to attend. What ideas do you have to share with us?? I hope to get at least one post on this as I know the lady who is in charge of the event and I just sent her my blog link so she could jump in
By the way have you registered yet?? I have and I was able to get a close hote!! This year is GUARANTEED to sell out so make sure you don't miss out and get on board. The event is only 15 weeks away!
15 weeks -- oh hell, I better get back to work on the session list.
2月19日 TechEd Session Time!!It's session time! Wow, I continue to be blown away by the high quality of session submissions we get for TechEd! Thanks to all of those who submitted sessions. I am currently working through the list of security submissions (over +200) and working with the other track owners to make sure we don't have any duplicates and that we can provide the best sessions. We are not only deciding on the sessions, but the webcast, HOLs (including ILLs) and chalk talks. I want to bring back the lightning demos in our Technical Learning Center (TLC) and will keep you posted.
Next week is the time when we will finalize our sessions and then start letting those who proposed sessions the status of their submissions. I can't spend too much time blogging now, as I need to get back to the session list! I did want to take a breather and let you all know that the SECURITY TRACK is going to be GREAT! I know you expect nothing less
BTW -- I got a new machine and I love it!!
2月13日 RSA Confrence 2007 in San Francisco was one to remember!!Last week as amazing in San Francisco!! It was my 3rd RSA on the MS planning team and we pulled off a HUGE sucess (at least in my eyes)!! First of all I
As usual I lost my voice during the event and for the first time I stayed and enjoyed the closing keynote - General Collin Powell. He was very funny, sincere and inspirational. I think it was a great thing that RSA brouhgt in someone who was able to close the event like that!
I have to run as we are ending the TechEd TLC planning meeting that we are in. I have asked for a new color and they have offered our area yellow (which I just might take). This next week we will be finalizing our sessions for this year's event.
I have alreaady registred for the event along with 1699 other people. Can you believe that already?? This year's event is sure to SELL OUT again and I can't wait!!
I personally want to have the Security Track meet your needs so feel free to post to my blog and let me know what you want, need and think of all things security. |
