    Women In Technology

TechEd this year is going to be one of the best ever!  I just had lunch yesterday to help brainstorm about the Women in Technology Luncheon or do I say fomerly a luncheon.  In the fall I attended a grass roots women in tech networking dinner and it was fun.  We discussed moving the luncheon instead to a reception (perhaps 6PM on Wed.)???  I think it would be a great change and really give the participants better chance to network and strengthen the community.  We discussed the serious problem that we all face with helping make "Technolgy Cool" and desireable to young girls.  How do we reach them earlier and let them know the great opportunites that are out there for them in and around technology!!  This is a test if anyone is reading my blog... what do you think??  If you have attened or are interested in attending this year's Women in Technology Event (open to men too) what would you like to see?  What would make the event worth your while to attend.  What ideas do you have to share with us??    I hope to get at least one post on this as I know the lady who is in charge of the event and I just sent her my blog link so she could jump in .

By the way have you registered yet??  I have and I was able to get a close hote!!  This year is GUARANTEED to sell out so make sure you don't miss out and get on board.  The event is only 15 weeks away!

15 weeks -- oh hell, I better get back to work on the session list.
